The Hanson Film Institute and Fox Tucson Theatre present Neo Noir: Denzel Washington, a rare opportunity to see two classic Denzel Washington films on the big screen. The Mighty Quinn (1989) and Devil in a Blue Dress (1995) were two films that announced and confirmed the big screen arrival of the young actor. Critic Roger Ebert on The Mighty Quinn: “The film stars Denzel Washington in one of those roles that creates a movie star overnight.”
