Do you have an idea for a TV comedy?

September 4, 11, 18, 25 & October 2, 9, 2018

To become a successful TV writer, you need to sell yourself and create a unique, personal brand. Networks urge writers to create shows from their own experiences – see Fresh Off the Boat, Better Things, Everybody Hates Chris and Curb Your Enthusiasm. In this lab, you’ll begin your professional training by creating a show about your own life. In a small group setting over 6 evenings, award-winning writer/producer/director Brian Levant will provide you with the tools to develop a concept, plot a pilot episode, and conclude with the opportunity to pitch to a current studio or network executive. FREE and open to UA students and members of the public.
