The Hanson Film Institute was delighted to host Jon Jost, one of independent cinema’s most uncompromising figures, on campus on Wednesday, January 17, 2018. The filmmaker drew from his 50-year career in a guest lecture for UA Film & TV students studying experimental production practices. The campus visit preceded a rare screening of the filmmaker’s works at Exploded View Gallery & Microcinema, part of his last American cine tour.
